Sophie sat with her back pressed against the building and her legs outstretched with some parchment and quills nearby. She also had a small water bottle with blood in it that she had finally gotten after waiting about two weeks. She had also recently redyed her hair so that it was more pink again. Some of her roommates were annoyed with her since they wanted her to die it red and show house pride but they always refused.
She looked at her parchment with a sigh. The sun was going down and soon it would be hard for her to stay and keep writing. She had been on a roll for awhile, editing the story she had written but now she had no idea where to go with it. She knew she could always just ask people for their opinion but that would require her to actually talk to people and she didn't have the patience. Maybe when she was walking back she could ask some random kid or something, that usually seemed to help. The blonde would just ask random questions until she got an idea of what to write next.
She reached for her water bottle and took a sip, scrunching up her face slightly before beginning to pack her stuff away. Watching the sunset wasn't going to help her get ideas and before she knew it there would probably be some couples coming out and she wasn't in the mood to watch a bunch of teenagers make out.

Julian wasn't in a mood to remain in the common room. It was crowded, it was loud and was suffocating. Most days, he would be a part of this but today he just needed some time alone. This was usually something he never did but it was good change, a healthy one too. The only thing that worried him was the fact that he almost never missed discussions and leaving today would probably raise eyebrows and wrong conclusions but eventually he let go of it and made his way out. He could feel eyes following him but he tried his level best to ignore them.
Soon, he found himself walking through the deserted corridor. He was in no real hurry so he just took random turns, stopping here and there when he saw something interesting. Hogwarts seemed full of it but only if you had the time, could you enjoy it. After ten minutes of random strolling, he realized that he was on the third floor which was quite popular among students for reasons that he never really gave attention to.
Making his way through the floor, he made out a figure in the sunset. Hoping it wasn't a professor, he went closer oly to realize that it was a gryffindor whom he hadn't really met before but classes and such had given him a vague idea of who she was and of course, her name. "Hi there," he said with a smile and then pointing to her materials that she was pint, he asked , "Need help with that?"

She jumped a little when she heard a voice and looked up. "No, it's fine. Thank you." She shoved the rest of her stuff in her bag. She wasn't a people person. You would think that since she was a Gryffindor she would love people but it was actually the opposite.
She was about to walk away when she realized she could ask him her questions to try and get an idea for her story. Knowing his name would probably help her so it wouldnt be awkward for her to just start randomly asking questions. "Hi, I'm Sophie." Sophie held out her hand as she said it, offering a small smile. He was a bit of a cutie in her opinion so maybe talking wouldn't be too awful. He seemed slightly familiar and she squinted slightly trying to remember the house he was from at least. It took her a moment to figure it out but then she recognized him as a Hufflepuff.
The blonde took another small sip from her water bottle before setting her bag back down. No one was here yet and she wanted to ask questions so she didn't need to awkwardly stand there with her bag.

Julian felt a pang of guilt when the girl jumped up on his arrival. Plus, the fact that she might have wanted to be left alone while here he was, ruining all that was nagging him at the back of his head but what was done, was done. There was nothing he could do to go back on it, nothing at all. So he just went with it. He nodded his head when she told him that she didn't need the help.
He watched her get up and start to leave. He was about to do the same when she stopped. He again did the same."Nice to meet you, Sophie" he said returning her smile, "I'm Julian, by the way" Julian mentally slapped himself for not asking the girl, her name first. He had always been crappy at introductions because of reasons he himself wasn't quite sure of. Not that he was shy or anything, it just wasn't his area of expertise.
"Mind if I sit down?" he asked, scratching the back of his head. He hoped she would agree because he could definitely do with some company and Sophie seemed nice, interesting even. He saw her drinking something from her water battle but he wasn't quite sure what it was, watermelon juice was what hovered in his brain but he didn't ask.

"Nice to meet you, Julian" She still had manners. Some people assumed that since she disliked talking to others then she would be rude but her mother taught her better than that. You have to be polite to the people you meet so that they will like you. It's important.
When he asked to sit down she giggled quietly. "Go ahead. You didn't need to ask" Sophie rarely had people ask to site next to her. People would either sit down without asking or just go on ignoring her just like she ignored them. "Would you mind if I asked you some questions?" She pulled out a spare piece of parchment and looked at him hopefully. "I dont think they'd be too personal.." She sometimes asked personal questions without realizing how personal the person might find them to be. She just liked to get references for her story. Ho was she supposed to become a professional author if she didn't have a good perspective for her character. The fact that she was writing a fiction story would already make it really difficult to become famous unless it was absolutely perfect. It was her life goal to become a published author. tagged: julian notes:hi
