Autumn had been feeling quite scandalous the past couple weeks. Not that anyone else had been noticing, however. If anything were to seem out of the ordinary, it would be that Autumn seemed to be volunteering for many of the dreaded prefect night patrols solo; her fellow prefects just assumed that she was helping out the other prefects who needed more sleep and putting her name higher on the list to be Head Girl, and there was nothing wrong with that. People pegged her as ambitious and determined to accomplish absolutely everything she possibly could during her school years, so it wouldn't surprise anyone that she'd have her eye on the coveted Head Girl position for her upcoming seventh year. But staying out late in the castle keeping her eye on the lookout for any shenanigans was not her first priority, seeing her secret boyfriend was.
"Autumn Monteiro? She has a secret boyfriend?" Yep, by the name of Jayden Andrews. "Wait. Autumn and Andrew? No way." Yes way, and that's part of why it's a secret. She'd get crap from her friends by dating the younger, womanizer, pureblood Slytherin and he'd get shit from more than just people at school about dating the little miss perfect muggleborn. Autumn had had a lack of love in her life and had always found Jay extremely attractive, and the sexual tension began to build after a random run in in the halls just before curfew. Autumn wasn't quite sure how they got it all sorted out to be honest, just that they'd been sneaking around at night together so no one would know. It wasn't a serious relationship, but Autumn sure was having a hell of a lot of fun with it. Jayden was different than the other boys she's dated; it was refreshing.
Tonight Autumn was covering for her fellow sixth year house prefect, Winter, who she'd floundered over for years. Jayden made her forget about her massive crush, and that's how it should be. It made her happy. She'd agreed to meet Jayden at a quarter to twelve midnight at the end of the hall where the entrance to the Slytherin Common Room was located. Autumn had already wandered the castle on the lookout for kids who'd lost track of time or planning to spend extra minutes with someone from another house--exactly what she was doing ironically enough. She couldn't help but wonder where they'd be going in the castle or what they'd be doing tonight as she stood waiting for Jay to make an appearance.
