THALIA LUCILLE HOOPER
[/b] i’m also afraid of being left completely alone, having everything i love taken from me. one more? fine, i’m deathly afraid of small, enclosed places.------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------
NAME: thalia lucille hooper
AGE: seventeen
HOUSE: ravenclaw
BLOOD STATUS: muggle born
WAND: twelve and a half inches, unicorn hair core made out of cedar------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------
PLAY-BY: perrie edwards
GENERAL APPEARANCE: hello there! you what…? you want to know what i look like? well… isn’t that a bit obvious? you want to know anyways? alright, then…
as you can see, i was blessed with my mum’s blonde hair and dad’s curls! it’s not really anything special, but i’ve always quite liked it. my hair’s fairly thin, and hardly ever tangles because of it, so it’s fairly manageable with the least amount of care. got landed with dad’s big baby blues as well, although i think mine are just a tad bigger than his, and mum’s shape.
my body? merlin, you are nosy, but I guess it couldn’t hurt. i like to call myself curvtastically-petite, and weigh in at exactly one hundred and nineteen pounds. i’m fairly average when it comes to height, standing at exactly five foot five. that enough information for you? yes? good.------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------
LIKES: you are fairly inquisitive… aren’t you? well, i suppose i quite like late night swims, there’s just something incredibly refreshing and calming about swimming in the dead of night. i’m also quite fond of the cold weather, especially snow; but not those puny couple inches, i’m talking about the three feet! confidence is something i’m fairly attracted to as well, i like people that don’t care what others think of them. i love dancing in the rain, as well, it’s incredibly fun! i’m also a huge quidditch fan, i love the game just about as much as i love flying! as for my favorite smells, i love cinnamon, lemon, broomstick polish, soap and the smell of a camp fire.
DISLIKES: i dislike quite a few things… but i’ll try and keep it short. to start off, i really don’t like coconut. no idea why, it’s just always tasted weird to me. something that really gets on my nerves are clingy people. i like my space and privacy, and if you can’t understand that, then you’ll get an earful. i also really dislike being told what to do, i hate when people try and control what i do, so if you try, expect me to do the opposite of what you tell me. seafood is also one of my dislikes… no matter how you cook it, I always find it tastes incredibly fishy. i also don’t really like being serious. it’s just so incredibly boring! just like being sad. sure, if there’s a good reason i’ll shed a few tears, but i try and get out of the funk as soon as possible.
GOALS: my goals, huh? well i’d love to become a healer at st. mungos. i think it would be incredibly rewarding! i’d also quite like to learn how to play exploding snap… i’ve never really gotten the hang of it. other than that i’d really love to travel the world! i think it’d be real neat to see the different cultures and traditions!
FEARS: … do i really have to tell you? yes? fine… but if you tell anyone i’ll feed you to the giant squid. i have a mild disturbance, (not fear, disturbance), of spiders.
PERSONALITY: bubbly: thalia is quite a happy person, and often tries to shove her happiness on others. she loves to laugh, and will always go to great lengths to get others to be happy.
confident: despite not being entirely happy with the way she looks, thalia is an extremely confident person. she doesn’t care what others think of her, and never changes herself to suit other’s needs.
competitive: she is incredibly competitive. thalia loves the thrill she gets from engaging in a challenge, they’re like an addiction. she hates being proved wrong, and will always fight for what she thinks is right.
stubborn: stubborn like a bull, that in a nutshell describes thalia. she hates being wrong, and would argue black is white if it meant not having to admit she made a mistake.
friendly: thalia is nice to just about everyone unless they give her a reason not to. she loves making friends and is incredibly at ease with talking to new people.

CLOSE FAMILY: geoffrey hooper, forty four, carpenter, father
eleanor branstone, fourty two, principal, mother
---- ---- hooper, fifteen, slytherin, younger brother
mackintosh, a cantankerous old ginger cat with six toes
HISTORY: thalia elaine maybury was born in the middle of a winter storm on december twenty-seconds at exactly four thirty six in the morning. throught the entire pregnancy, her parents doctor had continuously informed them that the baby was to be a little boy, so you can imagine their surprise when a daughter with a full head of hair was deposited in their laps. her mother and father, (albeit a bit surprised), were thrilled.
her first two years of life were relatively boring, spent mostly in the company of her parents and their friends and children. that was the year her brother was born, and she quickly adapted, always toddling around after her mother whenever she was carrying the new baby.
things remained normal and fun filled until thalia was only five years old, when her parents’ marriage fell apart. there was quite a lot of fighting, arguing and leaving during the months that lead up to their divorce, being only five years old, she hadn’t really understood what was going on. all she knew what that instead of living with bother her mother and father, she only lived with her father. their mother moved away, and aside from the occasional letter, they haven’t seen her since, causing thalia to have abandonment issues.
growing up with two strong male influences definitely took its toll on thalia; she became quite the tomboy with a penitence for swearing and getting into trouble.
she got her letter to hogwarts, and was completely overjoyed to leave her muggle school behind. upon her arrival, she was sorted into ravenclaw, (for reasons still unknown to her), and happily settled into the castle life.
her six years there passed in a flurry of good marks, dates, pranks, and fun. thalia’s currently in her final year at hogwarts and is ready for anything life has to throw at her.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Not many people were fond of the colder months, especially those who enjoyed wearing dresses and skirts, or those who just didn’t like the so called mess that winter created. However, Odessa was one of those people that quite enjoyed winter; or at least the snow part. She loved the way everything looked when blanketed in a thick layer of the frosty crystals; she loved the way her hands felt when the soft wool of her mittens were present; most of all, she loved the amount of hot apple cider she could drink without feeling guilty. It was one of her favorite drinks, and when alone in her little flat, she often drank it by the bucket full. When she was at work or out and about in the city, she tried to keep her consumption level on the smaller side. She had no idea why… it was just something she did.
Odessa slowly made her way out of her flat, checking to make sure all the windows and door were safely bolted shut before going over to her fireplace. She grabbed her wand, and taking one last look around, apparated into Diagon Alley. Her little excursion didn’t have much of a reason behind it, she’d just felt like getting out of the house, and Diagon Alley seemed the best place to start. Tipping her head to one side, she stood on her tip toes, looking at the different shops she had to choose from. She could always go to the Leaky Cauldron for a warm drink… but that was usually best enjoyed with either company or after a cold trek down the alley. Odessa cast her gaze further down the street, her eyes coming to rest on one of the bookshops. That would do! She’d been meaning to get a new book for ages, but hadn’t had the time what with her training and looking for Christmas presents.
She had never been inside Obscurus Books before, and the large space within surprised her. Nearly every available surface was covered in books, and the bookshelves were packed together like sardines. Smile softly, she carefully made her way around a stack of books, her fingers skimming over all the different books spines. Odessa paused for a moment, her eyes tracing the blocky lettering of one spine in particular before gingerly pulling it from the shelf. The Ice House She read, flipping the book over and reading the description on the back. By the time she had discovered that it was a mystery novel, the fact that it was by a muggle author had become apparent. Beaming, she continued skimming over the titles, her book safely clasp under her arm; only to walking into someone and go tumbling to the floor. She sat there for a few minutes, a slightly stunned look covering her face before she realized what had happened.
Looking up, she smiled sheepishly at whoever she’d bumped into. ”Sorry ‘bout that, really wasn’t looking where I was going.” Odessa picked herself up off the floor, quickly dusting herself off before bending over and grabbing her book before returning to her regular height. ”Odessa Wood.” She extended the hand that wasn’t clutching the book, and waited for them to reply.
